You need:

• An authorised celebrant (that is me)
• Two witnesses (friends, family, or in some cases the celebrant can help arrange)
• Your Notice of Intended Marriage lodged at least one month before the ceremony
• Your identification documents

That is the legal minimum. From there, you can add as much or as little as you like — a photographer, flowers, a special outfit, a meal afterwards.

Because you are not coordinating a large guest list, venue capacity, or complex catering, the planning process is far less stressful.
